Oh, when people ask me about my artwork, I think of myself as being
kind of an eclectic. I've been deriving from various people
in the process of searching out
what has impacted upon me. And
I find that changes from one, from one season to another.
Sometimes...it's
simply still lifes, sometimes it's flowers,
sometimes it's remembered views of the city, sometimes
it's something that I see in a photograph.
So my sources are varied and
it opens up the world
as possibilities. And it pleases me
because I'm not as physically able to sit on the
corners of street corners in
North Beach that I might have once done
or it's not as easy for me to go to the coast,
either the East Coast or the West Coast and paint directly from them
and sit through as they say, on-site.
But these have all been experiences that I've
participated in.
And it's nice to know
that I can continue to pursue art
in a varied way, as long as
I am able to hold a brush.
