Hello my name is Mario. Welcome to the episode number 4 of Road
to Medal of Honor Warfighter. A video series where I talk about news related to the
upcoming Medal of Honor game. Today is Monday August 27th
and there are only 8 weeks before the game is released in North America.
Last week was really quiet and nothing really happened.
so this time we are going to talk about something really important if you are
preordering Medal of Honor Warfighter.
What are the options available and what retailers are offering as preroder
bonus.
There are four retailers in America that are offering some preorder bonuses: Origin, Amazon,
Gamestop and GovX. Probably
all familiar to you.
In case you were wondering, GovX is a website that offers discounts to active
duty, reserve, and retired members of the US Armed Forces and related government
agencies.
Also I didn’t include Best Buy nor NewEgg because they are not offering anything new.
All retailers will sell the so called “Limited Edition”
and this limited edition includes three things: the Battlefield 4 Beta, the US Navy
Seal Sniper early multiplayer unlock and the Rifle TAC 300.
So by default we are going to get those three items. What makes the difference is that
there are some other bonuses that some retailers are offering. Those are exclusive to
them.
Let’s start with the British SAS Spec Ops.
It’s also an early multiplayer unlock exclusive to Origin
and actually Origin, besides having the Limited Edition, is also offering another one
called Deluxe for PC only and this one includes another early multiplayer
unlock the Russian Spetsnaz Heavy Gunner and a digital game soundtrack
as well.
Gamestop gets the US Delta Force Point Man
early multiplayer unlock.
GovX offers an exclusive camouflage called Project Honor
and finally, Amazon is surprisingly the only one not offering digital content this
time. It's actually offering instead of the plastic case, a tin case.
So what is the best option available?
For me, it's Amazon, and before you disagree with me, let me explain you why.
All the retailers except Amazon offer digital content that in the end is not anything
that you can’t eventually get while playing the game.
All of us will unlock those multiplayer classes sooner or later.
It's just a matter of time.
You can argue with that my option is... well, just a case? and I respect your opinion.
but remember this is a limited edition tin case and that’s what it
makes it special.
If you are a collector like me
and you like keeping your games, I think this is the best option.
Also, I don’t know about other countries but if you don’t live in the United States
and in your country, retailers are offering something else, please leave a
comment below. I would like to make a video about other international options available.
My name is Mario and this was the fourth episode of Road to Medal of
Honor Warfighter.
Recall this is a weekly video series and a new video is uploaded every Monday.
Thank you for watching. I will talk to you next time.
Until then take care and be safe.
