Clematis is the counter point of Impatiens. It's for those who are dreamers.
Drifting away from the Earth.
It's for unconsciousness. For people not full awake and involved in present circumstances.
It's for the person who is artistic.
Who creates in the mental state.
But that makes them very vulnerable,
because they are people who are not Earthed enough
Clematis is a flower without petals and without colour.
Perhaps this shows a sort of indifference and detachment.
But they're also absent minded
and they can't focus their attention
on anything that's going on, because of this desire to drift.
These long rope like stems of Clematis are a bit like the cords that are pulling people
away from the world, away from this life.
And maybe into the next.
Which is why Dr Bach spoke about Clematis as being a polite form of suicide.
That is one of the problems with Clematis, because they live with that level of consciousness
which is not in life,
they would look forward to death because everything is greener on the other side.
The seeds have feathery tails which hang in clusters above the ground, drifting in the breeze.
The plant holds onto the feathery seeds, until they are torn away by the wind.
Catching them at the tail, and tumbling them into the future.
