Tips in the main have not really got an awful lot to do with learning, because learning
isn’t one minute in the microwave when you're a golfer. Learning is a journey for life.
So we need to try and get people to appreciate that. I think maybe the fear would be that,
well, I don’t have enough time to do what you’ve just said, so I could bypass the
process and actually just fix the fault and I'm sure that will be okay. It's a very natural
thing to do, but it’s actually completely and utterly sabotaging how learning takes
place because ownership remains in someone else’s hands when they're giving you the
tips. So when that tip doesn’t work, what you do is, you seek out the next tip.
