I have five low cost suggestions:
1. Drive potential customers to your website by regularly adding fresh content, for example
blogs, videos, case studies, white papers 2. Proactively engage in social media, Twitter,
Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. There is no cost to this but it does require
a time investment so if time is limited concentrate on one medium and do it well.
3. Raise your profile by securing free editorial through pro-active media relations. Keep relevant
editors regularly updated with news stories, announcements and topical comment.
4. Gather customer case studies and testimonials to convince potential customers to select
you over a competitor. 5. Build relationships with other synergistic
businesses that can refer you to their customers. Whatever you do with your marketing budget
make sure you know who you are targeting and make your marketing relevant to them. The
more targeted your marketing campaigns, the greater your return on investment.
