hi there dan and again from CleanGuru and today's message is this
focus on one important thing
that'll make your cleaning business different
rather than just working on everything that everybody else is doing and trying
to do do it faster or more of it or better those are not bad things but then
when we focus on that
it may not be as good as the strategy of focusing a lot of our time on one
important thing that would be different let me explain you know we've talked
about mpp's we call them measurable guarantees of performance kind of like
unique competitive advantages or unique selling propositions that kind of thing
and we threw out the idea what if we had a way of tracking everyday knowing how
many hours were being spent cleaning in our buildings every night and by doing that
and by the way there's systems to do that right
well what if we not only did that
were different than the hours we were suppose to get so if it very from what
they were supposed to get let all the sudden the hours went down
well right away we'd be able to step in
fix-it today this week not later on well that's different so we could what could
it what would it be like
for in your city or your town to be able offer this very
uh... system this different promise to be able say listen we know how important
budgeted hours are we make sure every week you're going to get with you were
promised and here's how we do it here's the system well now that's very unique
takes some up front work but it's very different
now that's compared to what we do instead instead what we do so many times
right as we work on
all the same cleaning equipment the same cleaning startup techniques the same
management the same training everything else is the same from all the cleaning
companies that you see right you see them out there and then we started to
try to do just more and more and more of it
rather than say the heck with that
what's really focus a lot of our time on creating one important difference not
that those things are unimportant
they need attention to but if we allocated a lot of our time to create
a different
thing that we could promote
then we've got something think of the marketing leverage in the marketing juice
that that might have for your cleaning business
