Today we're going to show you lacquer samples from COD.AF collection, which offers a set of 23 colours
including greyscale,
natural warm colours,
warmer earthy colours,
cold colours ranging from green to blue,
finally these cute pastel colours.
First of all, keep in mind that small samples look darker than the entire surface of the piece of furniture.
First tip is to try and match light and dark colours in order to brighten up the first ones,
just like a simple black and white combination.
White tones too have got their own nuances, see pure White, Magnolia and Sahara. Don't worry if you can't tell the difference,
everyone sees colours differently according to light! pure White is colder than Magnolia and Sahara.
Brightness can be enhanced by pairing matt and glossy finishes.
Take a look at this gorgeous matching between glossy Black and matt Clay: smart and contemporary
One superb colour match is this one between glossy Smoke Grey and matt Wisteria
you can tell they work perfectly well together.
On top of that, dark Smoke Grey looks brighter and it even gets purplish.
Let's go through warm-earthy colours, a sober colour palette which goes from Magnolia to Moka, through a range of charming beiges.
Glossy Clay is the perfect tone-on-tone colour to match with glossy Canvas. Look how beautiful and fine, isn't it?
Moka brown finally, known as well as "Testa di Moro". A warm relaxing brown, dark but very different from Black, both with its glossy and matt finishes
We usually recommend our customers to go for glossy Moka, to be matched with matt light tones
for example with Magnolia, Sahara, or Clay: they surely will make your home fashionable.
We are going to go through warm colours from collection COD.AF
Look at this gorgeous Saffron orange, bright and warmly coloured
absolutely charming, to pair with warm wood colours for a cosy space
feel the warmth conveyed by Saffron and Tobacco Oak and picture them in a country house kitchen.
Even brighter this Lobster orange, a vibrant 2012 trendy colour. So beautiful both glossy and matt.
Let's have a look at Reds: what we've got here a is a Strawberry or cherry red, fun and warm and a dark pure Red
there we go with dark Red similar to Bordeaux or Pompeii
Red is best with a glossy finish, a popular choice to be matched with dark woods.
Dark Oak works fine with matt Red too
wonderful match for a modern kitchen.
I'll show you now cold colours starting from green tones.
Look at this opaque Bamboo green: this relaxing green is the "In" thing this season.
There we go with loud Apple Green, one bright and fun colour,
often thought of as a kids bedroom colour, interior designers at ArredaClick feel like suggesting this colour paired with dark woods,
with some selected Apple Green coloured elements for a young-spirited space.
Last green is Dark Green, an inspirational relaxing green which is not too dark
perfect colour for selected elements, especially when matched with lighter colours.
Let's go now through these gorgeous blues.
Have a look at this Cornflower blue, a classic baby blue which looks great when matched with wood.
This Natural Oak is a superb colour match to our Cornflower blue
they easily make us think of a wonderful beach house.
Matt Cornflower blue looks more "informal" while glossy one definitely suits elegant spaces. 00:04:17.000,00:04:20.000 Natural Oak works perfectly fine with Air Force blue,
slightly darker than Cornflower blue, and also a bit more elegant.
We close the "blues chapter" by looking at smart Indigo Blue,
which is not a night blue, but it is in fact brighter.
Indigo's brightness is enhanced by tone-on-tone matching with baby blue.
Finally, we get a look at these two fun pastel colours.
I have decided to separate this extra-bright Citron Yellow from warm colours
due to its special brightness.
Citron Yellow is a very loud and bright colour, it is better used on selected elements to bright the furniture up
especially when furniture is glossy Black. You can notice how Citron Yellow looks lifeless with pure White on its side.
I'll show you now one of the most beautiful colours from furniture's colour fashions for 2012: Wisteria
one splendid violet, works perfectly fine both with matt and glossy finishes, fantastic when matched with White.
You can see how Wisteria and White spread their light around them.
