Double slants
From a cornerback point of view, this route aims to mess up his 'finishing' angle
Direct passes are very similar to screen passes...
Except the ball is snapped to you instantly from hike, giving it an element of surprise
This is a common slant, with you faking a catch from the QB halfway.
Play action is when it appears to be a running play, but is actually a pass play.
Notice how the cornerback has a second thought, and runs back?
The WR sees the huge space he's created for himself on the left side
Streak route - NOT RECOMMENDED!
Precision passing is used when you have no lag at all. You are expected to be passed on as soon as you've finished your route.
It is highly effective when finishing (the tackle) is the CB's weakness.
...and that's all the routes you will need to know to have an advantage over others in your RFL career!
Remember, it's better to let your QB know you're running one of those routes before-hand, so he knows what you want.
Roll on the credits!
