Hello Youtube! Xisuma here with another Minecraft video. This is just a follow up to the one
I made yesterday about the belt idea I had. I've been talking to dinnerbone and it turns
out they actually added a couple of really useful inventory features that kind of went
un-noticed in the 1.4.2 update. So I thought I'd make this video to show you what those
are. The first one is kind of similiar to my idea, it's a swapping feature. So what
you can do is open your inventory; this works in both creative mode and survival mode, you
can hover over any items and can press a number, corresponding to the one on your hotbar and
swap your items around like that, Which is really useful if you can imagine yourself
building with some different materials and you need some other ones. It's a lot faster
then going into your inventory and dragging and dropping items around when you can simply
switch them around like that and start building with the new ones you put into your hotbar.
So that works in both creative and survival this next one only works in creative, if you
open up your inventory screen and hover over any group of items, and you press the middle
mouse key, you will get a stack of those items which is very useful for when filling in dispensers.
So that is pretty much it those are two things that went un-noticed, I certainly didn't know
about them. I guess there are a lot of things added and changed all the time in Minecraft
and unless you read through all of the changelogs your not going to notice them. So I hope you
found those useful, and theres also interests for modders in the mod idea that I had so
hopefully sooner or later someone will actually turn it into a mod, and I can do a spotlight
then so that you guys know it will be added cause I would definetly be using that in my
creative worlds when I am building but other than that, that is it for this video so thank
you for watching and I'll catch you next time!
