Female Speaker: Hey everyone, Melissa here form AccessoryGeeks.
What I have with me today is the original Primo PowerCore Universal Rechargeable
Battery Pack.
So what this is is a rechargeable battery pack that is 8200 milliamps which, to put
in perspective, the average cellphone battery is about 1500 milliamps, this
is 8200.
Another thing to kind of give you an idea - that's enough to fully charge an iPhone
4 or an Android Smart phone up to four or five times depending on the device or
fully charge the iPod once.
Before this I charged an iPad with the normal AC wall adaptor that it comes with
for about eight minutes and it charged 3%. I then charged the same iPad with this
PowerCore Universal Rechargeable Battery and in the same amount of time it charged
6% so that's about double.
It utilizes high density lithium ion battery cells.
The battery cells last for many hundred full charges and hold no memory.
It has an integrated power switch which allows you to put the Primo in standby
mode and prolong its power storage. So it's great because you can travel with
it, it's very sleek, it's slim, it doesn't take up a lot of room but it holds so much
power. It's Apple-certified and tested so for any
of the I's pretty much - iPad, iPhone, iPod - it's good.
There's actually universal compatibility.
In this snazzy velvet bag you get eight different adapters so you name it, it's in
here. And it also comes with this adapter that
has the things you can plug into it and a USB because at the bottom there's a USB
port and then an AC in and out. So you can attach this to the device
and then attach it with the USB or you can also just attach this end, attach it to
the device, and there you go.
This is really cool and it's a lot of power so for all those tablets out there
that just eat up the power this is perfect.
It goes for $99.99 on accessorygeeks.com where there's always free shipping
and don't forget that you got it from a geek.
