Now we have the notes outside of the staff for the saxophone. So we have lines and spaces
and we have a system here. Now the saxophone goes from B to high F. But to make it very
simple, is take the notes and spaces, lines and spaces within the ledger lines, within
the staff they call it. Okay? There are lines, there are spaces. Lines first are E, G, B,
D, and F. That's within the lines, within the staff lines there, your staff lines here.
Spaces are F, A, C and E. Alright? Now if you look at the lines again, you can also
say "Every Good Boy Does Fine. Every Good Boy Does Fine." That can be a good way to
associate that. And spaces, F, A, C, E, spell face. FACE, Every Good Boy Does Fine. We'll
talk about the extension notes on the next segment.
