It has transformed my life in so many ways, I probably don't have a piece of paper long enough to describe it to you.
It has transformed my life completely ... I came here as an undergrad a few years ago,
and I cannot thank the physics department.
Words cannot explain, I worked here and I went here for four years,
The friends and the people I met, networking-wise, the social experiences there is to offer is so great.
Opening my eyes to the future and giving me some great memories and experiences
ranging from the diverse culture the Bay Area has to offer to the faculty being very
experienced in what I want to pursue as a career.
All the teachers, all the professors are very accepting (at the same time they challenge you).
I found a job before graduation, so I am well prepared ... ready to go out to the workforce.
It's done such a wonderful job taking me from one part of my life to another. It's helped
with my transition (going from a community college into the four-year degree program),
and I have grown as a person. The experience on campus has been phenomenal and I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world.
It has given me the ability to finish my school and program, and I definitely want to go back for the grad program.
I am the first in my family to graduate, so it's been really great. It's a great school, we have a great community.
All three of us had been through the Cal State system. My youngest, Katie, is graduating today.
I am a graduate of Cal State Hayward and East Bay, undergraduate and masters, we could not have been prouder.
Today, it brought us all together. Brought grandmother out,
it brought aunties from out of the state so it brought people together ... today,
something that didn't happen yesterday, something that didn't happen last year, but today.
For this special occasion, to one central location, to celebrate one special person.
