Hello to everyone, Myji from the TCS team
in partnership with MILSIG and MAXTACT speaking.
Today I am going to introduce you the MAXTACT's TGR2
which is already available from MILSIG.
To explain the difference between MAXTACT and SCARABARMS, because a lot of people ask themselves this question,
because a lot of people ask themselves this question,
this is the same paintball launcher, the only difference is that MAXTACT is the company which produces the SCARABARMS
the only difference is that MAXTACT is the company which produces the SCARABARMS
We are now going to talk about the packaging of the TGR2.
Inside of this packaging,
we can found the TGR2's shell with his hand-guard.
I will detail the launcher later.
The air system.
The MAXTACT bottle of 0,2L.
The stock as on the MILSIG, RAP4...
Two magazines,
one 12 shot and one 18 shot, the magazines are first strike compatible.
the magazines are first strike compatible.
The TGR2 instructions on CD-ROM.
The gasket kit for the hammer, the bolt and the air system receiver.
The spring kit, I will detail this aspect later,
because the TGR2 velocity is not settable by a screw, you have to change the spring.
We are now going to talk about the TGR2 assemblage (after the unboxing).
To assemble the TGR2, you have to set air stock system by using this screw.
We now have an operational launcher, ready to be used.
The air system, one magazine then let's go on the battlefield.
I'll introduce you to more closely TGR2
The TGR2 barrel is at the A5 thread, which is interesting,
because a lot of player have this kind of launcher.
The hand-guard RIS 7" with Picatinny rail.
The sight is a MAGPUL type
The charging handle is a m4 type,
which make the launcher more realistic,
with the security system
The body is in great quality aluminum with a plexiglas on each side,
allowing to see if the ball is well chambered,
and the frame is in Nylon Fiber Polymer plastic.
The interesting thing is that the launcher is ambidextrous, it can be use by lefty and righty.
it can be use by lefty and righty.
The magazine part is a Magfeed, it is fully functional,
the magazines do not move,
you can unload without trouble,
which is a great positive point for this launcher.
If we look at the launcher more generally,
the esthetic aspect will please the MILSIM and CAMO players,
this launcher has a really good grip.
I have never seen a Magfeed launcher with a air stock system as light as this one.
The highlight of this launcher is his price : 550$.
It is really hard to find a better price-quality relationship.
We will continue with the disassembling of this TGR2
You have to remove the air stock system and the magazine.
Remove the two pins to disassemble the air stock system.
We have here the rear block and the velocity spring.
To explain the velocity,
the TGR2 is send with different springs which have different tensions.
One short,
one long,
and two others that you can cut at your the length that you want to set your own velocity.
Next we remove the frame, by removing the pin.
We now have the launcher block.
To remove the bolt and the hammer we have to unscrew the charging handle rod,
and we have to remove the charging handle to recover them.
The launcher is now disassembled,
we have the charging handle,
the bolt
and the hammer.
As you can see the disassembling is pretty easy and intuitive.
To conclude on this TGR2,
we would have appreciated some stronger magazine, they look fragile.
We would also appreciated a launcher completely in aluminum,
because the frame is in Nylon Fiber Polymer plastic.
However the TGR2 has a lot of positives points
It is a solid, reliable and a good quality launcher,
MAXTACT did not skimp on the materials quality.
A performing Magfeed system which allow a fast and effective reloading,
A launcher with a really good accuracy, by using first strike, it can become formidable
and a compatibility with Magmilsig and RAP4.
An approximate autonomy of 150 shots with a 0.2L bottle.
And above all an unbeatable quality-price relationship
The TCS team strongly recommend this launcher.
