Hi, this is Crystal on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to make my apple caramel
cake. So we have tossed the apples with the flour and pecans and set it aside. Now we
are going to begin to mix in some of our dry ingredients together, we are going to begin
with flour. I have a presifted flour so I can just dump it in the bowl, by the way I
did use 2 1/2 cups of flour. It is very important while baking to use precise measurements of
some ingredients such as flour and the next ingredient is baking soda. I'm using teaspoon
of baking soda. Next I'm going to add salt, this is approximately 1 teaspoon of salt then
I'm going to add our spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. I use approximately 2 tablespoons
of cinnamon maybe a little bit more, I kind of just I like a lot of cinnamon I love the
smell and the taste. So I'm just going to sprinkle that in there and nutmeg I'll probably
use about a tablespoon in a half. Now we are going to combine these ingredients together
just toss it mix it together, notice how I'm using the larger bowl. The reason I'm doing
this is because later we are going to be adding more ingredients in here. We want to make
sure it all fits, this looks like it's combine well now and we'll move on to our next step.
