SHOOSH!
Hello Internet! I am Captain Michael Knytebane of
the Starship Channel SHOOSH! And that was my dad!
Let's give him a big hand of applause!
Yea! Alright! Stuff! ROCK ON!
You might be wondering guys why I am standing on the bridge
Starship Enterprise, and there's a very good reason for that.
Because we opened today with implants in the ears, and that got me thinking about
implants.
And there is only one kind of implant that is important when we're talking Implants.
And no guys,
it's not this kind of implants get your mind out of the gutter!
It is the Borg implants, and that is what we're talking about today.
Well... sort of... You know what,
Let's just head back down to earth and we'll continue with our story.
Transporter room, this is Captain Knytebane, one to beam down.
Ah, it's good to be back down on earth . There's nothing like your own room
to make you feel at home. Well guys we are actually talking about bad decisions.
The decision to force children in certain countries
who are different, kind of deaf, to get
augmented hearing implants is
kind of morally questionable, but we're not going to dwell on that I
dwelled on that a little bit in take one of this video.
Maybe I'll put it up for you guys sometime, I don't know those kind preachy. What do
you think?
Anyway: Bad Decisions. Some bad decisions I've made for myself.
This one time I worked at Bingo Country and Bingo Country, when the
non smoking bylaw hit my town, decided to
close down the business. So on the last day of work, I
ended up going in volunteering my services for the day because,
why not? Right. Gotta have some fun somehow.
By working. Well it's busy, and it was jam-packed.
And I ended up mouthing off a customer.
I had fun doing it, I was hot, I was sweaty, I was enjoying mouthing people off,
Because, let's face it, I did it a few times.
All those years a frustration from these people
insulting you, belittling you, humiliating you...
and treating you like dirt. Oh hell's yeah!
I'm gonna go for it! Well what harm could possibly happen?
Except I found myself without a job as a result of them closing.
I found myself without a job reference
Because I mouthed off customers. Now fortunately though, this story for me
has a happy ending. Out of random coincidence I ended up getting a phone
call from a different place of business
that day, the day that my company got shut down, and on the phone they said, a
"Hey Michael! you want to bring in a resume so that we can hire you?!"
And I was like
"Hells yeah!" But don't count on good things happening,
because chances are they won't.
My most recent bad decision was using green screen to the stupid StarTrek Intro.
I mean Geez, Obviously it was horrible,
right? But it wasn't the worst you've ever seen I'm sure. ... maybe...
But I did it, and it was a bad decision because honestly it probably turned
out horribly.
But nonetheless its over and done with and is published.
Another bad decision that happened recently but
someone recently within the last year we'll say, with never lend family money.
Horrible thing, usually end up in court if you really care that much about money.
Well I was i living with a roommate at the time,
I was living in a different city, and we were splitting the rent and everything,
and quite a few times he was like
"I can't afford to pay my rent, can you pay it for me?"
And I'm like,
"Yeah, sure." So I pay rent for the both of us one month, and then the next month he
would pay for both of us.
It worked out really well, me and my room mate.
Up until he asked, "can i borrow a couple hundred dollars?" at Christmas.
He has a couple of kids that he couldn't afford to buy presents for.
That should have been an indication.
I was like, "you know you've got a girl she's like five years old, and another four year old.
You've got two kids who deserve to have christmas."
It's right, so i decided i buy Christmas for them and we had a great old time.
Now, he ended up paying me back, it was fantastic, so when he asks again to
borrow money...
I said "sure you've had a pretty good track record, I mean you've paid
rent when you said you were going to. You've gave me money back when you borrowed it last time.
I have no problem lending you money. "
Well short end of it is that he never paid me back.
Even worse, we decided to go our separate ways,
although I still have written confirmation that he owes me money so I can take him
to court if I choose to, but,
But it's not a huge sum of money, so I'm not going to worry about it I think.
Anyway we decided to go our separate ways and I
moved out, and then he moved out.
Oh god! I just noticed that it sounds like we were dating!
No guys. No. Quick clarification here.
He was my cousin. That's all you need to know.
No romance, no bromance,
no mancing of any kind going on. Got it? Got it? Good.
Well after we ended up going our separate ways,
I realizeed he still owened me money, so I sent him a couple text messages, and he changes his phone number.
And then I saw him a couple Facebook messages and he unfriended me!
So the moral of the story I suppose is to
never lend family money because it will end up on judge Judy.
Or they'll never pay you back. Families probably
the least responsible for paying you back, because they know
that your family, and in most cases they know that you won't take them to court.
Now that you guys know a few of the bad decisions I made in the past, I'm curious.
So do you guys want any advice on the bad decision that you made in the past?
If so leave it in the comments below, your bad decision story.
And I'll make a follow up video giving you some advice on
how to handle, or how you should have handled your bad decisions. Because I'm curious.
Am I the only one just stupid things? Or is it all of us who do stupid things?
Anyways guys, thank you all for watching. If you enjoyed this video give it a like
