Ok, now we're going to show you what we call a kouchi gari, which is an inner reaping leg
throw. Which obviously is from the inside of the body. So, she steps forward and throws
her punch. What you do is you take your left leg. You step back. You also pull the person
forward as they're doing it. But before their foot actually hits the ground you're right
leg is going to be coming in behind their leg, or even to the side if you can catch
it, coming to the side and actually kicking it out. And they'll actually be falling down
to the ground in front of you which is important that you want to be able to turn and get your
body out of the way. So again, comes in. We'll actually execute, down to the ground. It's
a very simple, short, sweep of the foot. If their foot is stepping forward you want to
catch it. Again you want to catch it before they actually make contact with the ground.
So, if they make contact with the ground, you won't be able to catch the technique.
So again, coming in, sweeping it and going down to the ground. Again, keep in mind that
you want to get yourself out of the way of their fall. And that's pretty much a kouchi
gari from the inside position.
