We're at Nærbø, second year we're here now.
Last time was two years ago. First beer we're drinking is a "Kriek of Telemark" from Nøgne Ø.
Sour & nice!
Norwegian Cherries, really really good!
This is something you can look forward too, cheers!
Hello, my name is Tore Nybø, I'm the General Manager of Nøgne Ø and also one of the owners.
I've been active in Nøgne Ø since 2003 and I've grown with the brewery.
Today I'm at Nærbø, at the beer festival here, I'm here for the third time.
I have to say this is absolutely one of the best festivals in Norway I've been too.
What's special here is that people come and say, I want that beer, instead of flimsing around and asking what you have!
Here people know what they want and they're straight forward about it.
Today we have a coule of news and one of them is "Kriek of Telemark" that is based on sour cherries from Lindheimshagene in Gvarv.
Not only is it cherries and beer from Gvarv, but it's also rose painting authentic from Gvarv.
We're really proud of this one.
In addition we've also brewed 1000 batches, so we've made #1000 & #1001 as a pair, first time two beers being released as one.
One light and one dark beer, based on oriental spices and saffron is one of them.
And both the "kriek" and these two is released at the state monopoly this November.

We also have a pumpkin ale here today, it's October and we have to make pumpkin, there's more and more American styles in Norway also.
We've also brought our Wet Hop ale that we recently brewed for the first time
We though that one had to be drunk so fresh that it would only be any good for a few weeks.
But to our great pleasure, it's just getting better and the cascade aroma is getting better as it's gotten a few weeks. We're really happy & proud.
That's the news I have here to day, other that that we've brought,
the norwegian championship beer from Monkeybrew.
Mandarina IPA
We got a lot of good stuff here today!
Hello I'm Oddgeir Vigre, I've made a whey beer, where I've used whey, the left overs of what you get when making cheese.
I've tried to make a tangy IPA, I don't know what more to say, anyway here's my take on a whey beer.
Hello, drinking the whey beer to the dude you've just seen, a unique experience.
Smells like an IPA, but there's something else there you can't figure out.
And when you taste it, it taste really full bodied like you've used extreme amounts of oats, but there's also something hard to define.
Fun experience, good story, cheers for the guy who brewed this!
