Do not replace books with posts on social networks!
Better check-in at a library!
"Animal Farm"
I'm at the Bastilia Library, in the Roman Square.
A friendly, welcoming and elegant place!
Andra will tell me more about it!
Tell us what Bastilia means!
Bastilia is a library that belongs to a national group of libraries, called Librarium!
It's a very beautiful building, a historical heritage monument,
which belonged to Petrascu, the painter.
The library is organized on 4 floors!
A few weeks ago we've also opened the basement, the place where we are right now
It's a very nice space, bright and welcoming,
with tall rooms as you can clearly see
Here, readers can find art books, albums, many games...
We have a special corner just for the games,
in order for them to be better highlighted than before
And just as the games corner,
we have a special corner dedicated to poetry and theater,
which is rarely found in Bucharest and in fact, in bookstores all around the country!
On the ground floor we have a large and beautiful room, the largest room of the library
A room dedicated to belletristic novels
A colorful and very welcoming room
If you go to the 1st floor
you will find a beautiful room for children
We've asked the little readers about how they imagine this room to look like
So it pretty much looks like they've wanted it to
You can also find two more beautiful and spacious rooms filled with history books,
personal development books
All books are grouped by domains
Let's not forget our reading corner
A place where people can sit down and read.
Finally, the attic!
We've pictured it as The 9th Heaven!
It's a pretty large space
where you can drink some hot chocolate, tea, very good wines...
Very important to say: it has a special smokers corner!
