My name is Andreas Schapowal I am an ear nose and throat surgeon
that was my first education at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
Then I immigrated to Switzerland 24 years ago
and did further education in allergology, clinical immunology, chiropractic
and I'm working as a lecturer
and I have a private practice in Switzerland.
In my clinical practice I'm treating ear, nose and throat diseases mainly.
That means in wintertime mostly treatment of respiratory tract infections and flue.
If somebody comes in with a respiratory tract infection,
the first thing is to differentiate between common cold and flue.
So if the person is really severely impaired, if he is very sick
if he has fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit and above, severe headache
then it's for sure an influenza.
Giving antibiotics in common cold and flue is wrong
because it's a viral infection so antibiotics will just not work
but they can lead to severe side effects.
Echinaforce in contrast to painkillers or antibiotics is a very safe drug.
The incidents of adverse drug reactions
is not higher in all the studies as in the placebo group.
Typically for a herbal medication
it's not only one active molecule, like in chemical drugs
it's dozens of active molecules.
If you take Echinaforce from the very beginning
you can reduce the duration of common cold or flue by two days
and you can reduce all the symptoms.
First, you'll get rid of the fever.
Quite often by day two you'll get rid of the severe headache.
Common cold usually takes seven to ten days to heal without any treatment.
If you give Echinaforce, usually it's gone by day five.
