My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to
make Chicken a la Cacciatore or Hunter's style chicken. Alright, the things you are going
to need to make our chicken cacciatore today. We are going to need a large cutting board
because there is going to be quite a bit of cutting with the onions, the garlic, the tomatoes
and the oregano. Not to mention the chicken. I've got a large chef knife here. I've also
got a small paring knife, we are going to use this to core the tomatoes with. Also,
if you have a tomato corer that would work just fine but, I'll show you how to do it
with a knife. Let's see what else we're going to need here. We're going to need a pan, something
like this, like a high sided sautee pan, something with a lid, too because you are going to put
a lid on it and throw it in the oven. Make sure whatever it is that it is oven safe and
it doesn't have handles that will melt or anything like that. Obviously, an oven that
will go to 375 as well as a sautee burner because we are going to start sauteeing this
on top of the stove. Other than that, the silicone high heat spatula that I am so fond
of, the set of tongs, we are going to use this to actually extract the chicken from
the pan at one point. Also, you are going to need a bowl for your trash as you're going
and of course, like always, a couple of really handy towels. OK, knowing that, let's go ahead
and get started.
