A Brittany-Santana sex tape, Jesse St. James returns, and disco disco disco. I'm Alex and
if you haven't seen last night's "Saturday Night Glee-ver" episode, this is your official
spoiler alert.
So I'll be honest, I had pretty low expectations for a disco-themed Glee episode… and maybe
because of that, I actually really enjoyed it. It definitely had its flaws.. but it also
had a lot of epic wins… so let's round them up, shall we? // For one, we got to see plenty
of Mike Chang & Brittany dance sequences, and that always puts me in a better mood.
// Secondly, we got to see a lot more of Brittany in general, and of course, her cat Lord Tubbington.
Now, it might not have been the smartest move for her to upload a sex tape of herself and
Santana… but in her defense, I kinda see where she got confused. // Jesse St. James
returned, even if it was just for a little bit. And although he is probably the most
evil character that the show has ever seen, he's also the most fun to hate.
Now, it was pretty clear that disco isn't everyone's strong suit, but a couple characters
seriously killed it: // First and foremost - Mercedes. Obvi. She worked "Disco Inferno,"
so hard, in fact, that she may have been born in the wrong era. And we got to see a little
Sam-cedes action, so I'm excited to see how that will turn out. // New character Wade
aka Unique, also seriously let it rip in his "Boogie Shoes" on the Vocal Adrenaline stage.
Now I never watched the Glee Project, but out of all the guest stars its brought to
Glee so far, Unique is officially my favorite by far. // I'm pretty sure Santana also did
a good job… but I was too busy checking her out in that silk onesie thing she was
wearing…// did I just say that out loud? // Anyway… those were my stand-out moments
of the episode. If you think I left anything out, feel free to sound off in the comments
with your own thoughts, and check back with me next week after the big Whitney tribute
episode. Peace.
