I think this is the most powerful habit that one can develop. It’s a necessity for a happy, fulfilling, and lucky life. I am a strong believer that your thoughts create your reality, it’s a universal law. I believe in this because I have experienced this numerous times in my life. I saw first-hand that what you you think about you bring about. The things you manifest can get very specific, and I don’t understand how most people don’t realize this happens. This is why it’s so very important to think positive. It can be hard at first to shift your thinking, but it can be done. When I was much younger I used to have a mean voice in my head. If I thought something negative, it would affirm it; something positive, it would deny it. I started to practice positive thinking, by repeating affirmations, and thinking the opposite of any negative thought a few times over anytime one popped up. I didn’t realize it at first, but because I was doing this my subconscious mind started to change. One day I realized that the mean voice was gone and was replaced by a kind and reassuring voice. If I ever felt defeated, it would say to me, “You can do it! I believe in you!” Whenever I slip back into negativity this voice pops up and reminds me not to let it happen. It can be hard to keep a positive mindset, but think about how powerful it is. Your thoughts create your reality. Not just because you attract things in the physical world with them. But, because your perspective and the story you tell yourself is colored by your thoughts. Your thoughts are the line between joy and depression. A good way to start thinking positive is to practice gratitude for the things you already have and have faith that things will get better. If you believe in something it will come true, so believe in the best. So, here’s a funny story that happened during this painting. I was listening to an audiobook, so I wasn’t paying that much attention and somehow managed to forget to include the ‘n’ in ‘thinking.’ I only noticed after it was inked. This got me so angry, because I was pretty much done with the ink and I almost rage quit and scrapped the page, but then I looked at what I was painting and thought it was a test. So, I tried to put the ‘n’ in and continued the painting like nothing happened and it turns out it was pretty easy to fix in Photoshop. If I would have let that negativity win, this painting and this video would not exist. I chose to stay positive and see it through. In the end it turned out fine and I could use what happened as a lesson for us all. The lesson is, always stay positive and never give up. Everything happens for a reason, after all. Thank you so much for watching, if you liked the video hit the thumbs up. If you have any personal experiences to share, leave a comment.
