Well hello, Tilak here for IOEprep and in this video we are going to
talk about
right hand rule for finding current
and a magnetic lines of force
so simply if I have wire
which has some current flowing , so basically
current flows if there is some potential difference between
two ends of the wire, so if i maintain some kind a potential difference at
both ends
so the current is going to flow from higher potential to lower potential
if there is currently lying in this direction to upwards
and then the magnetic lines of force
are going to be in direction... [ I'm just gonna place the paper]
so magnetic lines of force are going to be
in the circular direction so
and if I place my hand here
this is how the right rule works so current is flowing in this direction
that is shown by my thumb and
the magnetic lines of force going to be in the direction shown
sown by my fingers so they are then
in circular path and
similarly if I can make a solenoid
or a circular conductor so
[ just gonna make sure it's circular so two circular ]
...
so if current flows in such fashion in such manner then and this is gonna be a circular manner so it's
gonna be
a fist rule so where current flows in circular
manner or circular direction and
the magnetic lines of force are going to be
in the direction of thumb something like that so this is going to be
the magnetic lines of force and current is going to be in a circular manner
so that was pretty much about the right hand
for current and magnetic
lines of force, Thanks for watching :)
