Let’s get right to Thursday. We had a shootout loss on our Coyotes Free Pick. We have been
doing well with the Coyotes but not on Thursday. YouTube Free Pick that was an easy win with
Clemson covering the spread and we picked up a win on The Lock side with the Oklahoma
City Thunder. On Friday more shootout wins. Sometimes they
suck and sometimes they don't. Usually you have two shootouts you win one lose one. And
on Friday we picked up two shootout wins in the NHL one on the Free Picks side and one
on the Lock Picks side.
Onto Saturday our Free Pick NCAA game probably the game of the year. If it’s not the game
of the year than certainly the play of the year getting Auburn to pull off a win in that
game. It was probably the best college game I've watched all year and I have watched a
few. Canadiens in the NHL a loss, we split our Free Picks and we also split our Lock
Picks on Saturday.
Onto Sunday. Yesterday was nothing to write home about. Bears, oh not the bears pardon
me, the Detroit Lions and NFL haven't won in Pittsburg in I guess ten years now. They
should have done yesterday but didn't even come close to pick let alone covering the
spread. Chicago Blackhawks won in the NHL in the late game and Bears a push on our Lock
Pick. And the Eastern final game of the CFL, we
were expecting big defense on both sides and it was looking that way until the very end
of the first quarter with Hamilton coming back and a quiet second and third quarter.
But in the fourth Toronto got blown away, or not exactly blown away, as far as the under
54, it was close to the 60 something. So took a loss on our second last CFL Lock Pick of
the year. Coming up next Sunday will be the Grey Cup
and will certainly have some sort of pick for you on that game.
So let's have a look at the recap for the past thirty days. These numbers reflect from
the last time we spoke on Thursday and reflect the changes over the past thirty days in that
time. Pretty much a 50-50 split here. Picking things up on the Free Pick side, up about
6 units. So things are turning around there even though we're still in a red on them.
Win-loss percentage up about 8% and the ROI increased about 3.5% over the last thirty
days. And over those same last thirty days on the
Lock Picks, we are down about 3 units. ROI down about 2.5% change in that time and the
win-loss percentage is down about just 1%. In the individual leagues the NFL down 1 unit,
the NBA down just half a unit, CFL down 1 unit. But on the good news part of the leagues,
NHL up 2 units now which is screaming along in hockey picking up now in NCAA up 2 units.
And of course our YouTube Free Pick was another winner and that number is wrong again let
me change that. That's better. Picked up unit in the YouTube Free Pick and we are now almost
over just about 4.5 units on that. And speaking of YouTube Free Pick, here is
today's YouTube Exclusive Free Pick. In the NHL take the Winnipeg Jets at -165. Don't
miss the rest. They are posted now at takethelock.com. And that's it for me. I'll be back on Thursday
with the weekend ahead. In the meantime thanks for watching.
We’ll see you on the winning side.
