Hi, I'm Debbie, and I just returned from the four-day defensive handgun training at the
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Pahrump, Nevada. This was my silhouette used
in the skills test, and as you can see, my shot placement wasn't too bad for having my
first time through the training. But my timing sucked. So while I did go home with a certificate
of achievement, I did not get that coveted graduate certificate to allow me to advance
to the next level. So I would have loved to have taken home Brad Ackman, but since that
wasn't possible, I did the next best thing. I downloaded the Dry Practice App to my iPhone
and my iPad, and with this application, I'm actually like I'm back on the range, listening
to the range master give us the commands as we work through the firing drills. Only this
time, it's dry practice. Let me demonstrate it for you. Here is a type 1 malfunction dry
practice. You'll need to go ahead and reset your action.
Go ahead and standby at the ready and let me know when you're ready to continue. Ready.
All right. Point in. Hard focus on the front sight. Ready. Finish up with after-action
drills. Safety on or de-***, and stand by at the ready.
And there you have it!
