[Intro Music]
>> MARK: I think the main the the course has introduced me to, along with the practical
skills in the studio, has been the computer programme
side of the course and that has opened up quite a lot of doors and given me opportunities.
>> GAVYN: Apart from the actual technology behind music and the technologies involved
in it, I think the business aspects and the professional development
is probably, if not as important, as the actual information about the technologies that we've
learnt. It's really made us learn what to do with what
we know, not just learn what we know but where to take it after.
>> MARK: I've had a lot of support from the lecture with my final year project and that's
been one of the keys to my success I think. But yeah the lecturers
are generally helpful and quite knowledgable.
>> ANDREW: Well I work part-time here and I work part time out there in the music software
industry and there are always a number of students each year who
I'd have no hesitation to take on and move into the real world and become members of
commerical teams.
>> GAVYN: It's been a great experience, the diversity of the course is just second to
none I think. I've had a great time at Bournemouth University, there's
some great teaching staff, really preparing us for what is out there when we finish uni.
