This is the dream question that everyone wishes was true, including me. Can you lose 10 pounds
in 10 days? Yeah you can, but it’s not recommended, it’s not safe, it’s potentially dangerous
and usually when you lose weight that rapidly it comes back with a vengeance and then some
so if you lose those 10 pounds, you’ll probably gain 12 after you get off the crazy diet that’s
helping you to lose that weight.
This is an example of what fat looks like under the skin looks like. This is a rubberized
blob of five pounds of fat so you’re looking to lose twice this amount, it’s a deficit
of 3500 calories a day which is really hard to do.
So it’s not advised. Pills, potions, detoxes, they don’t work. It’s not recommended
in general that you go that route for weight loss. If you’re trying to lose weight quickly,
you have to keep a minimum of 1200 calories in order to give you the energy, give your
muscles the fuel to be able to exercise.
When you go below that, you start tapping your muscles, valuable muscles which are the
engine that keeps your body going. You start tapping them and burning them for fuel and
that’s the last thing you want to do.
So, stay away from fad diets and empty promises that you can lose 10 lbs. in 10 days cause
it’s not safe. And put your diet on the fast track by doing it the healthy way, eating
a healthy diet, lean proteins, fruits and vegetables, cut back on the added sugar, and
too many starches and lower the sodium in your diet, eliminate the alcohol you’ll
save calories that way and you will lose weight, but this weight won’t come back if you do
it the healthy way.
