Today I am going to prepare DOSA
I remember the taste, in my childhood days my mom used to prepare
This is Tamil Nadu special "Ada Dosa"

Ingredients required for "Ada Dosa"
Half glass (120 gm) Raw Rice and Half Glass (120 gm) Parboiled Rice
Black Gram - 60 gm
Pigeon Pea - 60 gm
Bengal Gram - 60 gm
Green Gram/Cherupayar - 60 gm
Fenugreek - two teaspoon
Dry Red Chilli - 08
Clean all and soak in water for about one hour.
except rice rest of the stuff can be soaked together
and then we need
one medium size onion
chopped into small pieces [as shown]
then - small piece ginger, garlic cloves -3
Asafoetida - 0.25 teaspoon and Curry leaves (cut in small pieces
these are the ingredients required for "Ada Dosa"
take a mixer jar (for preparing batter)
add soaked red chilly (now its no more dry π)
add ginger and garlic
add little water
let us grind it
stuff is grinded properly
adjust the quantity of chilli according to your preference
add soaked rice
and then
add required water to the rice (we need to grind)
let us grind it
no need to grind too finely
rice grinded as required
now add Fenugreek
add Black Gram , Pigeon Pea,
Bengal Gram and Green Gram/Cherupayar
and let us add 60 ml of water
let us grind it (not too finely)
batter is ready
now add Asafoetida powder and Curry leaves
one teaspoon salt
now just grind the stuff for 10 seconds
now batter is properly grinded
Instead of using a mixer you can also use a grinder machine
transfering the batter to a pot
fermentation is not required
we can cook right away at this stage
that is called Ada Dosa
and now add onion or shallots will also do
I have taken onion
mix well
this is the thickness of batter
now we are ready
at this time you can check salt..
I am adding half teaspoon salt
mix well
place a pan on flame
pan is hot
now pour batter as shown π
keep in low flame π₯

ππ» if you are not using non-stick pan then apply some cooking oil before pouring batter
this is protein rich recipe
batter contains all protein rich ingredients
this is healthy recipe
one side is cooked properly
apply gingelly oil as shown
gingelly oil gives a special taste to Dosa
swap side
after minute check if it is cooked
wow.. Ada Dosa is Crispy Ready
let us move to a plate
I will show you quickly how to prepare CHUTNEY
take mixer jar
add two or three shallots
two green chilli
little grated coconut and water
grind
grind as shown
place a pan on flame... when hot
add two teaspoon cooking oil
when the oil is hot add mustards half teaspoon
add one dry red chilli
low flame π₯
add curry leaves
pour the coconut grinded mix into it
add little water
mix and add salt to taste
I am adding half teaspoon salt
for this quantity half teaspoon is enough
I am not adding much water...
don't let the stuff to boil
when its hot, turn off flame
check salt
for me it is okay
now let us shift the stuff to another bowl
protein rich Ada Dosa and
Chutney is ready!
