They often say, the right path is the hardest for you to follow. But the hard path is also
the one that will make you stronger. My name is Rebecca Pham and THIS is my story.
A few years back, I was walking down the street. A hooded man approached me kidnapped and *** me.
Ever since that day, nothing has been the same. Everything in my life changed. Leaving
me all alone. Until the day my parents found out. They interrogated me and I finally gave
in. They thought I was irresponsible, careless and just plain stupid. That was when I confessed
that I was actually ***. I was an idiot to think that they would actually support
me. So I used my last resort and told my best friend, praying for at least one ounce of
sympathy. Unfortunately, nothing came. So I ditched school. I hated how everyone just
looked at me as if I was some alien. Is this what I really deserve? The bullying dragged
on into cyber - space. I was ready to slam my phone against the wall, ready to give up
hope and lose. Lose to them all. There wasn't anything left for me. I was on my own. No
support, no sympathy. But then, I saw the light. Someone had finally understood what
I was going through. People began to support me. Although I was still bullied, I wasn't
alone anymore. I was saved.
Here's the bottom line when it comes to bullying: DON'T. Growup and accept what makes someone different to you. Because its a good thing. THey are
not going to all one-eighty overnight, grow a few centimeters, gain a beautiful face and
turn into Miranda Kerr. They're humans too. They have proper feelings and words like " You're
ugly " means something to them. Even the slightest cracks of inconsiderate words can have a catastrophic
effect. Bottom line: Don't Bully.
