Thinly slice daikon radish.
Thinly slice carrots.
Remove oil from abura-age by pouring hot water over it.
Cut warabi (Japanese bracken) into equal lengths.
Boil the root vegetables.
After cooking through, drain water using a colander.
Add oil to a pan and fry abura-age and warabi.
Once cooked, add daikon radish and carrots.
Cooking sake
Soy sauce
Mirin (sweet sake)
Mix well while simmering
Add shirataki
Simmer.
Taste and adjust flavor as necessary.
This was a little bland so I added salt.
Add the raw cod roe.
(Some regions in Aomori use tofu)
Stir well and continue to simmer.
Once it's cooked through, it's finished!
