This is her 46th World-Cup victory, and she equals Bjørn Dæhlie, and she is now the most successful in the number
of most World-Cup victories together with the legend, Bjørn Dæhlie. It is an amazing number of victories for Bjørgen.
This here is the coolest thing I've been through. It has been a fantastic day and a great atmosphere, and when we stood on
the starting line in the final and only heard Marit, Marit, Marit. It was awesome.
It is the "worst" I've been through, but it is incredibly fun and not least to meet the expectation. It was a fabulous start.
Marit does it. Yes the cross-country queen wins in front of the king and what seems like half of Norway.
This is a ski adventure, she wins the WSC. Marit Bjørgen meets the expectation on the very first opportunity and this
was believed to be her weakest event, and she wins the gold. She may be the World Ski Championchip queen. It's amazing.
There is history behind it. It is great and not least that it is a girl who win both Olympic gold number one hundred
and WSC gold number one hundred. So it's incredibly fun.
What a phenomenal cross-country skier Marit Bjørgen is, she has had a enormous pressure before the WSC and now
she lets herself be hailed from a fantastic audience in the fog. She wins her second consecutive gold
from two possible events. She is unbeatable so far in this Word Ski Championship.
Marit Bjørgen stakes everything she's good for, it's almost a dead heat between Marit and Kowalczyk.
Marit Bjørgen could be historic with this victory, she takes out everything she has, and about a half a minute we have
the story mapped out for if it is gold or silver. But the performance is great again, she has kept the distance to
Saarinen. She has been faster than Kowalczyk at the end, but she must pick up one second or two.
Now we have to count, Kowalczyk was so tired, so tired in the last uphil. No it can't go, I think it's too far back.
I think Marit will win. I'm not sure yet, she has got 10, it's too far, 9, 8, it can't be done, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, Kowalczyk wil not
make it, 2, 1, congratulations Marit Bjørgen with your third individual gold at the Holmenkollen WSC, no Norwegian
cross-country has won three individual gold in a WSC, but Marit Bjørgen made it. But it was just bearly, what a fight.
They both lie there worn out, but Bjørgen made it.
Marit Bjørgen gets the flag she dreamed of having with her, 150 meters into the run-up at Holmenkollen.
Hear the cheer that meets Bjørgen. The gold team from the Olympic Games strikes again. Yes, it's time for the relay party
in Holmenkollen. Marit Bjørgen cruises into her fourth gold, she wins the gold with Vibeke Skofterud, Therese Johaug and Kristin Størmer Steira
and Kristin Størmer Steira.
How many seconds did you just show Bjørgen now? 40 seconds on this side and gold on the other side.
No, you showed her the gold. Yes, I did.
I think it was okay that I didn't saw it. What would you do if you had seen it? I already figured that it smelled gold.
Marit Bjørgen becomes World Champion in front of Claudia Künzel and Hilde are number three and take the bronze.
Yes, it's a dream come true, it's a strange feeling. I do not think I have realized it yet.
it's a gap, it's a gap. Yes, it's a gap. it's a huge gap, of 2.7 seconds. Look at Marit. It will be a historic day for Norway.
I think the last uphill there, is the most awesome the world has ever seen by a female cross-country skier.
Should we try to see, yes she has approached and we see that she Manninen has gone well on flat terrain.
Under two seconds behind now. She will eat up Sidko in the uphill and Marit Bjørgen comes now. Yes, see here this
is Marit Bjørgen, come on now but the Finnish girl follows very well, too. Marit will probably, in a moment, be in the lead.
I have almost run out of words, it has been incredibly huge and insanely great experience and going over the finish line
and knowing that you have won, with the audience that lifts you up to the stadium. It's been unbelievable. I'm struggling
to find words, because it has been so great. I will never experience something greater than this in my sports career.
There have been some incredibly huge days and to retrieve the flag in the relay with the audience
and skiing the 30 Km at the Frognerseteren was absolutely incredible.
