Let's get to audience emails and voicemails. I got three voicemails in a row about the
CPR story, where a guy after 96 minutes was resuscitated.
Louis: Are any of them usable?
David: Well, they're all... all three are from the same person. He really was fired
up. Let's just go through these.
Caller: Hey, David and Louis, this is your appreciative listener, Xavier Onassis. Regarding
the guy with the 96 minutes of resuscitation, you cannot reasonably argue that the man was
never dead. We only do CPR on dead people. Unless it was a complete clown circus with
untrained medical personnel doing CPR on someone who was laying there going ow, ow, ow.
David: OK, so then he calls back, this is about 10 minutes later, and we... we love
Xavier, but he's really... there's a lot... I didn't know there was this much to say about
it. So here's voicemail number two.
Caller: Hey, David and Louis. This is your listener, Xavier Onassis, again. About that
96 minutes of resuscitation and CPR, that person was absolutely dead. He was in a thing
called ventricular fibrillation, during which the heart is shaking like a bowl of jelly.
David: OK, and then we did have a third voicemail subsequent to that, as well.
Caller: Hey, sorry to call you back about that amazing resuscitation. The most defribillations
I've ever applied to a single person was six. After the fourth one, we definitely started
to smell bacon cooking, so we had to move the pads.
Louis: Jeez.
Caller: Just so that you understand how intense that is, to be shocked.
David: All right, so thank you, Xavier, really getting into that resuscitation story.
Louis: So the guy was legally dead.
David: So the guy was dead, and he... this is a bonus show story we talked about, and
really getting Xavier's attention, for lack of a better term. Let's go to emails, and
of course, david@davidpakman.com, or through our website or Twitter or YouTube comments.
Where do we go here? The bin Laden pictures: "I agree with Louis about the photos being
released, but for different reasons. I believe all videos and photos of our wars should be
released so that people know exactly what they're supporting. See the disparity between
the deaths of innocents and villains. See the violence. We're all living in a fake,
peaceful bubble." You know, I don't disagree, but then let's talk about all of the pictures
from the last 10 years of war, not the bin Laden pictures.
And, "Appeasement is not a good idea, because those people will simply call the photos fake
anyhow." As I said. "You can never convince certain people, so Louis, it wouldn't make
any difference, and then could be used by extremists as a visual incentive." If there
are terrorists recruited with the bin Laden death pictures, Louis, I think we'll all be
pretty upset.
Louis: Agreed.
David: On the Allison Warden May 21st is the Rapture interview: "Thanks for uploading this,
David. I'll share it on May 22nd so many can give it a laugh. Religions are entirely the
product of human ignorance. Education is the key to eradication." And, "David should interview
Charles Manson."
And lastly, on the topic of the U.S. and happiness study: "Health care is so important to this.
I would think that the welfare of your body and your family would greatly influence your
happiness."
Keep those emails coming, david@davidpakman.com. On today's bonus show, I'll give you the update
on my Scientology recruitment story; I was recruited by Scientology, a lot more to say.
Plus, Arizona wants donations for their border fence, and plenty more.
