Let me tell you a wonderful story, as eloquently told by wise men.
There's no Broadway musical without dancing, and hence without choreography.
The dancing is here to illustrate different emotions such as joy, fear or happiness. It's really a part of the libretto.
Even though we can see all types of dancing as in every modern musical, be that classical, jazz, contemporary and African,
this show has something unique about it: the symbolization of the animal.
For instance, in the body language of the lionesses, in the choreography,
the dancers successively express ferociousnessů and tenderness.
For the hyenas, they must play on the various facets of maliciousness and viciousness.
Thank you, thank you.
