This is a literal depiction of the Architecture of Fear made by a photographer-artist.
Whose work is this and why is this image part of the exhibition?
It's made by the Finnish photographer Ilkka Halso.
The photographs are not reproductions of reality but are rather constructed entirely digitally.
So it's more like the artist's scenario of the future,
a somewhat pessimistic image of how he sees the consequences of global warming.
He started from the idea that in a number of years from now,
we will only be able to view nature in a museum.
Hence the title of this series, 'Museum of Nature'.
He also started from the idea that it won't just be a museum
but that it will contain a level of entertainment at the same time.
The museum thus becomes somewhat of an amusement park,
which offers a prefabricated and controlled adventurous experience.
