Hi, I'm Dr Drew for PETA. I have lived with animals, pets, my whole
life. Whether it's birds or fish or dogs or cats
or hamsters, and my kids too we've raised them with animals.
And our dogs have been a really important part of our life, they are members of our
family. We wanted somebody that fit with our family,
fit with our kids, and we found that with our dogs.
We have a problem with dog and cat overpopulation. Billions are getting into the shelters, and
half that many are being adopted out, and I don't have to tell you what happens to the
rest. And by the way, even the ones that are staying
in there before adoption that's not something we like to think about.
So it's something we have to all be responsible with.
If you even have a passing interest in animals, or you live with animals under any circumstances,
I think it takes up just a little bit of attention to be responsible and you can have a dramatic
impact on this crisis.
