We received a question from Evan asking how he can get his rental contract
signed online. Great question!
I'm a rental business owner and I've been using a web site called www.echosign.com
for the last few years that I really like and wanted to share with you
today. And the best part is, is it's also free to use up to five contracts.
Now it can be any kind of contract or agreement that you need to have signed
and it's very easy to use. If you go to their website (www.echosign.com) you'll see they have
find a lot of information, samples and a video that shows
you exactly how it works.
But basically you prepare your contract or agreement as you normally would on a
word document.
You would place where you want your tenant or the person that's going to be
signing, where you would like them to sign.
Then you send it to them by email and once they sign it comes back to you
for your signature and it gets filed.
It's it's really quite simple.
I guess probably a lot of you are wondering like when I started with this
if electronic signatures are legal.
On the website, and I'll include a link for it- there is a map that shows
depending which location you're in which countries do recognize electronic
signatures. And they are as legal as let's say a signature done by by
pen
on paper on the printed document.
So you can take a look there and see wherever you're located if it is legal
or not.
Again it's very, very easy to use. If you have any
questions about this I can share my
feedback and what I think about it.
Or if you have any questions about anything else you can reach us by
