The next series is on some standing postures, some bending postures, and back postures.
In any case, as in yoga, you want to breathe in deep. You want to connect the body with
the mind. By breathing in deep, you feel the belly rise, and on the exhale you feel the
belly extract. And what happens is you're rushing oxygen through the body. Many times
with the process of breath, it brings you deeper into a posture so you can feel the
benefits of it. But in any case, on a an extending posture, if you're close to a wall, sometimes
it gives you the stability so you can do it. If you're laying down on the floor, there
are different adaptations, but you want a soft surface, so you want a mat, a thick mat,
or a carpet on the floor. Working with organs in the body is important through yoga, so
stretching them and moving them; awakening them is what benefits the wellness in a person.
So take a deep breath in, and when you exhale, just feel, not only from the nose to the breath,
but you want to feel the feet as well. And just relax the body with any yoga posture.
