Hi, my name is Garly Hillard I'm here on behalf of Expert Village to talk today about making
bread pudding with a bourbon sauce. Today we are going to talk about bread pudding.
It's a true New Orleans staple as far as New Orleans always had a problem with money. So
you have to, have to go for cheaper ingredients. Desserts would be like a bread pudding because
it's made out of cheaper ingredients. You can use French bread, ciabatta stuff like
that just a custard so it's really easy to make. It's 40 minutes time consuming which
isn't a big deal but if you're broke it's definitely an easy dish for you to make. I've
been eating it all my life, my whole family makes it, everybody else makes it, everybody
in New Orleans French quarter restaurants that is one of their main dishes. It's definitely
something good if you haven't tried it you should try it. You can make it with various
things. You can add different kinds of fruits like I said different kinds of bread, it's
a very flexible dish to fool with.
