We have Catahoulas. They're registered Catahoula puppies. My husband uses them for hog hunting,
but they're also used for stock, moving stock, like if you have a cow that's in the wrong
spot, they will move those, and they're very good at it. But we primarily use them for
hog hunting. The breed's, their very, very sweet and companionable. They're a very good
family orientated dogs. They are territorial, but they are very family orientated. They
will help to keep children in line as far as not letting them go too far. They, of course
you can see, they love to play and are very affectionate. All of these are -- have what
is classified as a glass eye or glass eyes or blue eyes. Most dogs have brown eyes. These
all have blue eyes. Their mama has blue eyes, and these all have the blue or glass eyes.
Their mother is very, very affectionate. She is very loving. She's very gentle with people.
They do not seem to have a -- they can be aggressive, but as a rule, Catahoulas are
not aggressive dogs at all. They have to really kind of be provoked to be aggressive. We have
sold some in the past to a guy from Melbourne that uses them in what they call trials, field
trials, and it's just an exhibition type thing. So, we hope to be able to sell them to people
like that. Or just someone needing a good puppy. Yes, they are very, very good pets.
They will become very, like I said, very territorial as far as taking care of family members and
watching over children and that kind of stuff. They're very good for that. She's just a really
good, good dog. She's very friendly, very compassionate, very, I don't know, just a
very loving breed of dogs. They're very sweet. She's my best friend.
