Hey guys, so it's Tuesday here on FTMTranstastic
and I guess *** cold right now I'm waiting
to warm up and hopefully I'll warm up throughout this video
The thing about being a Southern Californian
is that any small amount of
cold hits the area, you just become a
*** wussy, like I swear! We don't like the cold down here
we're not used to it.
Ugh, whatever. Anyways...
So I believe when we came up with this week's topic, which is toys
I believe when we came up with it, we were suppose to be talking about sex toys
but we didn't specify 'sex toys' - so this week I'm
just going to be talking about, um, children's toys. Because I'm pretty sure
the other guys on this channel will be talking about sex toys
and, um, yeah, you're going to get a different viewpoint from me.
So, for some of you guys who knows my story of
my transition and everything, um, I've always
basically known and that was really confused, actually, when I was younger
that I was a boy.
I was really confused, like I've said, as a kid because people
be callin' me a 'girl' and stuff and I'd be like "Uh, no. I'm a boy"
You know? And I remember getting in trouble back in preschool
because this girl said that
I could not be the brother or husband while we're playing
house but I said I could because I'm a boy. The toys I played with when I was younger
I played with
every stereotypical boys
related toys possible. I played with
Lets see, I grew up in the 90's...I played with my NES
played a lot of video game systems. Video games were kinda like my go to
for fun types games. I love video games.
I did things like skateboarding. I playing with superhero action figures
more specifically Batman related
action figures and Power Rangers stuff. So I played with the stereotypical
boy stuff. I only had, like, one or two gender neutral
you know, type toys which are mainly my teddy bears
but going back in the 90's
which is it feels so long ago my see feels so long for
somebody who were born leader in the nineties but like
it wasn't that long ago where are
you know they were Cilmi gender stereotypes and sell many
guidelines for what it always you know
boy he's she play with or girls should play with their churches
status date is still something guidelines but it's becoming better
within the last place for your sis I remember back in
I think it was 2007 when there were doing
Tess's Lee these is complete experimenters a
into the budget kids you know with different temperaments and everything
and they would put them into like this broom with his
duty to protect toys and the girls plays in the boys toys to see what tech toys
to kids like to play with their
on and here it didn't matter
with the kids sex workers state play with either gender toys
now so that was pretty cool actually I'm
the LC it was until in recent years
where you know it was becoming more acceptable
for say boys play with genders typical
genders typical came sailing on stochastic
ombre you know that it was okay for boys play with toys like dolls early
you know easy-bake ovens and everything it was okay for girls to go over and
play
you know like with action figures over 20 guns
in all that you know it's is gender-neutral now late notices that
in some countries I think it was in Norway or something
where toys R Us any for this year's on
twice as prime Bay is toy chain
company on out there arm the sky sell toys
are she say Toy Story or toy retailer
out there so they sell toys on and
the when they were making advertisements couple years ago
for I think it was your way I'm pretty sure Norway or Switzerland
it while others norian on Europe its
countries out there but basically their advertises for gender-neutral
the head girls playing with boys to lease and
no boys playing with girls place and advertisements which i think was
said create the because still progressive shows that you know it's
okay
to buy tickets to Lisa's on like you word
you now on I haven't seen much is that
in the United States but the holidays are coming up and hopefully
when I get my hands on advertisements are in the same
everything we'll see more of a gender-neutral
thing but you know its own it's obvious that you're working towards
in our society and I think it's great
I think day intentionally margin neutral because
it honestly does not matter you know it does not make you a more aggressive
kid or you know more you know softer
kid whatever it now like it is it towards
there to be playing with you know let the kid
go crazy where on
as always the are was looking for more to exhibitions
enrollees looking for it answering your questions so
afraid to hit us up on any our social media sites
is its scraggy its
unseating for it heels I will see you guys
next week peace
