Prepayment is a great way to help manage your energy usage.
When you first register with us we’ll supply you with a key for your electricity and a
card for your gas.
If you've changed supplier, or moved to a new house with a prepayment meter, don't worry,
you can still use your old
suppliers’ or previous occupiers’ key or card until ours arrives. If you’ve lost
your key or card, please contact uson facebook or twitter
and our staff will help you get your replacement.
You can simply collect your new key or card from a local shop, or we cans end it to you
by first class post - however, thsis option may take up to three working days.
To make things easy for you, we've made sure you can buy credit from as many places as
possible.
You can top up your card or key at any service station or shop where you see the PayPoint
or Payzone sign as well as any Post Office.
Hand over your key or card to the shop assistant and ask for a top up to the value you want.
You can only top up in full pounds.
Slot your key or card into into your meter and it then shows how much credit you have
left available.
It’s a good idea to think about when you’ll need to top up.
As winter draws in think about topping up a little extra to see you through
the cold nights.
