Welcome to the tutorial on paying tuition and fees.
Cashiers provide several payment options for tuition and fee payments.
Tuition and fees may be due at the time of registration, or on a specified due date for the class.
This includes the registration fee and any associated class fees.
The easiest method for paying any tuition and fees is to pay online via my.maricopa.edu.
However, each college cashiers office can take payments in person, on the telephone, and by mail.
Payments made by phone require a credit or debit card and mail requires payment by check or money order.
You can check your class registration status, find out how much tuition you owe, find out when your tuition is due, check your financial aid,
and pay for your classes all in the same convenient place using your online Student Center.
In this tutorial we will focus primarily on the three Online payment options using your Student Center.
Let’s begin by logging into your online student center, click on the Student Center icon in the Student Tools section
on the My.Maricopa.edu site and login with your MEID and password.
From the Student Center, scroll down to Finances area, and click on payment options.
If you click on the “make a payment” tab, you will see the three choices of: “Pay by Credit Card”,
“Pay by eCheck”, or “Pay by Monthly Payment Plan”.
If you are planning to pay your tuition and fees in full, you will likely choose the “Pay by credit Card” or “Pay by eCheck” option.
If you would like to pay your tuition and fees in smaller payments, use the “Pay by Monthly Payment Plan” option.
This option is interest-free, with a $20 enrollment fee.
The payment plan can be established with either a checking or savings account, or a credit card.
If you choose the “Pay by Credit Card” link, make sure to allow pop ups on the site. If pop ups are blocked, the next window will not open.
On the next screen, choose the “Click here to continue with the payment process” option.
This link will re-direct you to an external site hosted by TouchNet.
After you have completed the payment process, a confirmation email will be sent to you if you provide your email address.
Another option to pay your tuition and fees in full is the “Pay by eCheck” option.
You might be asking “What is an eCheck?”
An eCheck (or electronic check) is an electronic paperless form of online payment that gets deducted from your checking account.
You will need to provide the name on your checking account, your account number, and your bank’s routing number.
On the next screen click the “eCheck” button, a new window will open with NBS eCashier Automatic Payment Program.
Thoroughly read the information on this page before clicking “Proceed”.
The last option is to pay your tuition and fees by monthly payment plan.
This process starts by clicking the “Pay by Monthly Payment Plan” link.
A Payment plan is a good way to pay your tuition and fees over time and avoid large lump-sum payments or high interest payments.
Using a payment plan is a good way to budget your finances by making smaller, more manageable payments.
Like the eCheck option, you will see a button next to the semester to Select “Payment Plan”.
Just like paying by eCheck, a new window will open with NBS eCashier Automatic Payment Program,
but the information will be different on this page.
Thoroughly read the information on this page before clicking Proceed.
After you have entered your payment information, before you click the Submit button,
carefully read through eCashier’s Final Review, Terms, and Conditions.
An email will be sent to you confirming enrollment through eCashier if you provide your email address.
Paying your tuition and fees is one of the first steps to success in your classes. Good luck with your education with Maricopa Community Colleges!
