Greetings, Peace and Love
The world is crying out for a way to stop violence
I would humbly like to submit
that the answer is to promote non-violence.
Also the world is waiting for something good to happen -- for everyone.
I would like to submit that the answer is working for a common cause --
the children.
My name is Andre Sheldon
and I'm the director of a Global Strategy of Nonviolence
It is my honor
to present the plans for a global movement
of nonviolence
and new Global Peace Negotiations.
The opportunity for the people of the world to unite
to attain political clout
is here right now!
A Global Movement of Nonviolence is designed as a means for the people of
the world
to work together for the welfare of the children,
the constructivist segment,
and for the obstructive segment, to Stop War,
Diffuse Conflict, and Break the Nuclear Chain.
Global Peace Negotiations are proposed to intervene in upcoming major conflicts.
I predict, as others have,
that there is a crisis coming and possibly war
between Iran
the United States, and Israel over nuclear development.
Noam Chomsky, from MIT, called it the "gravest threat to world peace."
The Global Movement of Nonviolence is designed to give the political clout
necessary to influence
every government,
proactively
to prevent a war with Iran.
Nonviolence is the umbrella to achieve
these goals
in all the other goals for social, economic, environmental,
and political change.
The sages throughout time have told us
nonviolence is the answer.
The main elements
for a global movement of non-violence are
mobilization,
nonviolent conflict resolution and disarmament,
and programs for the children.
There is, however,
also a special caveat.
But first,
there have been absolutely profound events that have paved the way
and they all point to nonviolence.
They are: The Arab Spring,
the Occupy Movement,
and the global reaction of the people around the world to the shooting for the
girl in Pakistan, Malala, is proof
that the people want non-violence.
The horrible killing of the children in Connecticut in the United States
the reaction of the National Rifle Association in the United States about
guns.
All of these events illustrate that this is the time to promote nonviolence.
A Global Movement of nonviolence is ready now!
It's all about direction.
Do we want violence,
or do we want nonviolence?
Robert Kennedy, in nineteen sixty eight,
had to announce the assassination of Martin Luther King
while in Indianapolis, Indiana
in the United States
To keep the peace,
he said
very slowly, and I quote,
What we need is not division,
is not hatred,
is not violence or lawlessness.
What we need is love,
and wisdom,
and compassion for one another." Unquote.
These are the highest ideals.
Without using fear
a full plan for a Global Movement of Nonviolence is designed to illustrate,
for the children, the commitment and dedication to nonviolence.
A Global Movement of Nonviolence is designed to capture and keep
the attention of the media.
The mechanisms are in place
and the stimulus to implement it
is prepared.
The caveat that I mentioned earlier
that makes a Global Movement of Nonviolence different than any other movement,
that gives it its strength
to be as profound as all the sages together
is that it will be led by women!
If we want to unite for peace,
we must say so.
Therefore the initiative to implement a Global Movement of Nonviolence is
called
a CALL to WOMEN,
World-Wide Unity Campaign,
designed to empower women throughout the world.
The purpose is for prioritizing programs for the children,
the long-term goals.
A Call to Women
is not just about women.
It's about working together
for humanity.
Women can make it happen.
Men are included.
But, it will not be easy.
There are risks
and no guarantees.
It will take more courage to promote nonviolence than is needed on the
battlefield.
We need all the conferences and grassroots initiatives
but also
the large idealistic movement.
Women must be prepared to diffuse the conflict.
A Global Movement of Nonviolence
paves the way.
Please see the next four
short videos that explain the process.
Thank you very much.
