So, what will you be making? Methi Palak Mutthiya (Patties)
Ingredients required to make Methi Palak Mutthiya
Fenugreek Leaves, Spinach, Sesame Seeds, Coriander Seeds Powder, Cumin Seeds Powder, Semolina
Wheat Flour, Gram Flour, Sorghum Flour, Baking Soda, Ginger, Green Chillies, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Mustard, Salt, Oil
Take a cup of wheat flour, 1/2 cup of sorghum, 1/2 cup of gram flour, 2 tsp of semolina
1 tsp of coriander seeds powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds powder, 1 tsp of sesame, green chilli paste as per taste
A pinch of baking soda & turmeric, a little ginger paste, sugar for taste, 1 tsp of lemon juice, salt for taste
Also, add a cup of chopped fenugreek leaves and a cup of spinach. Add a spoon of oil
Mix all the ingredients together with some water
Make a dough
Make small balls with the dough and flatten them out like small patties
Take a pan with holes in it and grease it with some oil
Place the patties in it
Take a pot and heat some water
Place the holed pan with the patties over the boiling water and close the lid for 15 mins
Take the patties out and keep them aside
Cut the steamed patties into smaller pieces
Take a deep pan and heat some oil
Add some mustard seeds and sesame seeds, fry them a little and switch off the stove
Add the cut pieces of the patties into the pan
Switch the stove back on and fry them for 2 - 3 mins
Garnish with some coriander leaves
Take it in a serving plate
