Hi I'm Linda Stanfield of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, the Punctual Plumber.
Water is one of our most precious resources and wasting it is not an option. Your bathroom
consumes the most water in your home. Check your toilet to see if there's any water leaking
from the tank to the bowl. A very subtle leak like this can waste hundreds of gallons of
water a month if left un-checked. To check this take a few drops of food coloring
and put them in the back of the tank. If you see the food coloring appear in the bowl,
most likely it's going to be a bad flapper. Being aware of how long you stay in the shower
is equally as important as knowing how many gallons per minute your shower head is rated
for. This shower head is rated for 2 gallons per minute. And this other shower head with
the water sense logo is rated for 1.6 gallons per minute. Conserving our most precious resource
is always a great idea. Water Conservation. Ways to Conserve Water.
