Hi everybody and welcome to this new video!
Today I'm going to finish the trilogy about wargames factory's orcs, so let's start!
First point: quality and variety! The miniatures have a medium quality details, they also have unexpected details (if we consider their price)
As always, it's possible to assemble a huge number of different poses
I've assembled 24 orcs in 24 different poses
At the end of the assembly, you can still have a lot of different bits and you can use them on different miniatures
Second point: Miniatures' surfaces and definition! The miniatures have well made details
even if there are some small problems with the neck and the melting lines
The melting lines are easy to eliminate using a cutter, without damaging the sculpture
The neck is a bigger problem and you have to work harder to fix it, maybe using some green stuff and similars
Third point: Painting level! I recommend this miniatures for rookie and pro painters, you can paint them eiter if you are a beginner painter or if you are an expert painter
If you are not pro painter, you will find very funny painting this models
Pro painters will have fun painting flesh and skin of the miniautures, this are the largest surfaces of the models
The shileds also have big surfaces to painting: this part of the miniatures are suitable for freehands
So the miniatures are suitable to rookie and pro painters
Fourth point: pro and con! The best vantage, I think, is the attractive desing compared with the very low price
On wargames factory's website they cost more or less 19 dollars, i.e. a bit more than 50 euro cents (there are 24 miniature in the box)
The low price and the design are a big merit for everyone who loves Tolkien's illustrators (as I am)
So this miniature look very appreciable for Lord of the Rings' fans, for Tolkien's illustrators fans and for Angus McBride's fans
The large variety of poses is another big vantage
Talking about the poses, we have the problem with th neck
The hand are also problematic: they have all open hands! Why? I don't know. This is very awkward
There is only one harm woth closed hand, suitable to put the shields on it
But, if you assemble them either with spear and hand weapon or with two different hand weapon, the shield will stay in a more realistic pose
Another small fault is the not very clean juncture between sprues and some bits, but you can easly settle this problem
I think that this miniature are a good alternative to other orcs miniature. Especially if you are not fan of Games Workshop's Orcs (they are fantasy, but not in the style of Tolkien's novels)
I don't like Games Workshop's Orcs, with their huge head. I think that Wargames Factory's Orcs are closer to the Tolkien (and related illustrators) style
So I recommend this orcs for all who love monsters and stuff like this
I think it's enough! I hope you've enjoyed this review, my next video will be a Vlog about my first two months as a youtuber, so see you to the Vlog!
The video ends here, leave a comment and see you next time! Bye!
