Now we're ready to apply our pressure. We've got the glue in the bubble, we've got the
excess wiped off, we've got our clamps ready, we've got our plastic here, we've got our
melamine surfaces. What we do now is, we place the block right over the top of the bubble
itself. Get our clamp out. We want to put the pressure basically centered right over
the top of the bubble area. It always helps when you have a third hand. If it's a large
bubble, you may need more than one clamp. We get this one secured and then we'll apply
pressure toward the outer edges.
You don't want to crush it, you want just gentle pressure, just gentle hand pressure
and when you see the glue squishing out, it usually tells you you've got enough pressure.
After we get our clamps set in here, one more should do it. We're going to let this sit
for 24 hours and we'll come back take the block off and the glue will be thin enough
to where it'll hold without the block itself and then you'll move on to another bubble.
And that's really all there is to the clamping part of this process.
