Not even one day did he say
Ya Rabbi, for the wisdom and miracles you have given us
He didn’t give shukr (wasn’t thankful)
Just one time if he would have given me shukr
I wouldn’t have taken the nimets (blessings) from him
Shukr shouldn’t only be a habit of the tongue
Alhamdulillah (praise to Allah), Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah,
How are you, Alhamdulillah
They have become only empty words
They have become a habit
It isn’t so?
It has to come from within
The Person while saying ALHAMDULILLAH has to
And know the nimet (blessings) and appreciate it
Appreciate the the blessing from their Rabb
You are the biggest owner of all goodness
I’m powerless, I’m a sinner, I’m weak…
You have given me so much grace that
I’m drowning in it… you are putting it upon me
Even though I didn’t deserve it
For example:
My neighbor doesn’t pray but he is richer then me
I pray and why should I suffer
What is that?
That’s so wrong
Wrong, don’t look at the person who doesn’t pray and
Ask why they have been given abundantly
Why kafirs live more comfortably in this world?
Why do you mix all that up?
All this is a test
The world is a the Mu’mins (believer) dungeon
And the Kafir’s Jannah (Heaven),
according to the Hadith
because the Mum’in has an eye on Jannah
Allah will not make both sides Jannah
We are being tested
If you have trouble on your hands,
that is a sign that you are a Mum ‘in
understand that your Rabb loves you
A man came to Rasulullah
Sallallahu alayhi wasallam
Ya Rasulullah I love you
Do you love me?
I love you… are you sincere?
Are you telling me the truth?
Yes, I’m telling you the truth
Then get ready for poverty
Get ready for trouble
Because the one who loves me
Is like when the flood comes rushing down
to the creek bed… so fast
it will be much faster than the flood
that you will be overpowered with poverty and troubles.
that you will be overpowered with poverty and troubles.
