What we've tried to do with the new Range Rover
is to really offer customers even higher levels of luxury in the car.
In terms of things like material choice, in terms of exterior and interior colour combinations,
I think there are over 18,000 different combinations that a customer can choose from, so
enabling them to make the vehicle much more personal
and more bespoke to themselves. On the interior of the vehicle, we really
wanted to create a whole new cleanliness and a whole new elegance
to the interior, so we've reduced the number of
switches inside the car by 50% compared to the outgoing vehicle.
Now this has given us the opportunity to create a very clean, a very elegant environment,
but also pay a great deal of attention to the detail execution,
so the stitching, the material finishes, the quality of the materials comes into sharp
focus on the interior. Luxury inside the All-New Range Rover to me
means not only the materials and the design, but also the fact that I can customise it.
Everything is not only luxurious and high quality,
but can also be tailored to suite what I need. As the door of the All-New Range Rover closes,
I'm in my own environment. It's peaceful, it's quiet, it's luxurious.
It doesn't matter whether I'm in the hustle and bustle of the city, clambering over
a boulder crawl or driving across the Sahara, it's always that same peaceful, refined
interior.
