So we're going to show you the operation...
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surprised London's commuters by taking a bus and heading
to the Tube station.
I really want to go on the bikes!
You could've come on any time.
Kate and Will made the special appearances in support of the official launch of London
Poppy Day, which hopes to raise £1 million across the capital for the forces in a single
day.
The royal couple were greeted by huge crowds at High Street Kensington Tube station where
they met Poppy Day appeal staff and volunteers.
But that wasn't before they took a short trip on a vintage Routemaster bus from Kensington
Palace. The iconic 1960s bus a toured across the capital with Actress and British Legion
Ambassador Barbara Windsor.
An estimated 2,000 uniformed personnel, veterans and their supporters joined in for a London-wide
day of events for the Royal British Legion appeal ahead of remembrance Sunday.
